The children created video diaries about virtual holidays with their friends. They had lots of fun planning their trips; staying in luxurious accommodation; doing loads of exciting activities (such as sky diving, surfing and bungee jumping); and even getting lost! Year 5 has been working on the fiction text ‘The Red Eye’. They have had fun creating story maps in groups to retell different parts of the story. Whilst enjoying themselves, this activity has the potential to develop and to dramatically improve students’ writing skills.Read more
