Students wishing to enter the Sixth Form at the British School of Tenerife must have gained an A or B grade at IGCSE Level in the subjects they wish to study for A Levels.
Between Years 12 and 13, students must study for four A Levels including Spanish and prepare for the IELTS (English Language) examination.
If a student is considering attending a German university then they must study A Level Mathematics or a Science subject. Parents must contact the relevant Department of Education in the area of Germany they wish their son/daughter to study in and supply the school with the necessary information needed for the student to be able to enter the university of their choice.
The British School of Tenerife is an official centre for SAT examinations for entry to American universities.
On leaving the British School of Tenerife the majority of students will have achieved four A Levels.

The majority of students who have studied at the British School of Tenerife go on to study at third level education in the UK, Spain, Germany or the United States of America. A Level qualifications are recognised world wide.
