We have started to celebrate Dyslexia Week at BST joining in different campaigns that are on worldwide. We put the spotlight on dyslexia to raise awareness among our school community so that everyone can understand what it involves in having this neurodiversity – the difficulties and the strengths! Our students at Primary are working on an amazing project that we are going to be very proud to share with you on Friday, the 7th, celebrating international Dyslexia Day, October 8th, when all our students are joining the #GoRed campaign wearing something in red!
In the meantime, they are cracking the code as you can see on the display at our Primary site, a code that has been developed by an individual with dyslexia!
At Secondary, students are given the tools to spread out the word, also outside the school about what it means to have dyslexia and all the amazing skills it brings with it, getting to know famous people with this neurodiversity, who despite their hard time at school, have succeeded later in life!
We are proud of the inclusion of our school, where we understand that diversity enriches us all!
Help us spread the word and put the spotlight on dyslexia!
