Early Years

 

All Early Years pupils must wear the official BST P.E. tracksuit with white or navy blue socks and trainers. The BST tracksuit is available from the school office.


BOYS Years 1 to 11

Long or short grey school trousers
BST official blue polo t-shirt (available from the school office at La Luz)

BST official navy blue sweater (available from the school office at La Luz)

BST official navy blue jacket (available from the school office at La Luz)
Navy blue socks
Plain navy or black school shoes


GIRLS Years 1 to 11

BST blue tartan skirt, (available from the school office at La Luz)
Long or short grey trousers
BST official blue polo t-shirt (available from the school office at La Luz)

BST official navy blue sweater (available from the school office at La Luz)

BST official navy blue jacket

Navy blue socks
Plain navy or black school shoes
Navy blue hair band or elastic

The above uniform is worn daily except on the day your son/daughter has P.E. lessons.


Anoraks:

During cold weather pupils/students will be allowed to wear a plain dark navy blue anorak over the official school jacket. Please note that the anorak must NOT be branded or have any form of logo.

 

 

Students who wear inappropriate school uniform will have these items confiscated until the end of term.

 

P.E. Uniform: (available from the school office at La Luz)

 

The official school tracksuit comprises of a navy blue tracksuit, navy blue shorts and a light blue t-shirt. This uniform is available in the school office. Students must wear white or navy blue sports socks only.


Senior pupils must bring two official P.E. t-shirts to school on the day they have sports. They are required to change into a clean t-shirt after the lesson.


The correct footwear is white or black sports trainers (fluorescent trainers are not allowed). Please note that students with incorrect footwear will not be allowed into school.


Trainers should not have black soles.

 

No skate boarding shoes or canvas shoes to be worn. Students who do not wear the correct P.E uniform will not be allowed to participate in P.E lessons.


Shorts MUST be worn during sports lessons. Jewellery should be removed for P.E lessons.

 

Jewellery: Allowed in Middle and Upper School only

2 rings
A watch
A bracelet
A chain necklace (no other type of necklace may be worn)


Ear-rings must be stud ear-rings and no more than 2 pairs may be worn.


No jewellery in Primary school except stud earrings and a watch.


The uniform policy must be strictly adhered to. Pupils will be asked to remove jewellery if it does not conform to the above. If an item of jewellery is confiscated it will be returned at the end of the school day. If a student repeatedly flaunts this rule then jewellery will be returned at the end of the school term.


All items of the school uniform MUST be labelled clearly!


YEAR 12/13

Students in these year groups do not wear school uniform. They should, however remember that they are still studying in a school and wear appropriate clothing.


No flip flops for boys or girls. No spaghetti strap tops, see-through clothing or shorts of an inappropriate length for girls or vest tops for boys are to be worn. Clothing with inappropriate slogans is also not permitted in school.


It is at the discretion of the Head Teachers to decide if what a student is wearing is suitable for school or not. If clothing is considered offensive then the student will be sent home to change. In the event that the student is unable to go home he/she will be placed in isolation for the remainder of the day.
